Patti Booth

Patti Booth is the Founder and Creative Director of Miniaday Designs, LLC, a creative studio specializing in original watercolor illustration, surface pattern collections, and visual storytelling for licensing, hospitality, educational, and lifestyle markets.

Her work brings together original artwork, coordinated patterns, and story-driven design to create cohesive collections that translate across home décor, textiles, stationery, paper goods, hospitality environments, educational products, adaptive products, and lifestyle collections.

Inspired by nature, travel, vintage artistry, miniature environments, and meaningful everyday experiences, Patti creates work that invites connection, sparks curiosity, and brings warmth and belonging to the places where people live, learn, work, and gather.

From Miniature Worlds to Surface Design

Patti’s creative journey grew from years of designing and building miniature environments, including the development of an original solar-powered dollhouse and her long-running Miniaday YouTube channel, where she shared miniature projects, creative techniques, and imaginative approaches to small-scale design.

Working in miniature taught Patti to think beyond individual objects—to consider scale, color, pattern, storytelling, placement, and the relationship between elements within an environment. That perspective became a natural foundation for surface design and continues to influence the layered, immersive quality of her collections today.

Patti works across Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Procreate, and digital design systems to develop production-ready collections, coordinated pattern ecosystems, presentation materials, and visual assets for commercial application.

Commercial Experience

Patti’s artwork and surface designs have been developed across greeting cards, textiles, wallcoverings, art prints, stationery, home décor, apparel, accessories, and lifestyle products.

Her work is represented across select creative and retail platforms including Card Isle, Spoonflower, Contrado, Zazzle, Fine Art America, and Giftette, allowing her artwork to reach customers across a variety of markets and product categories.

Her nature-inspired and story-driven greeting card designs have reached customers through Card Isle, part of the 1-800-Flowers family of brands.

Patti’s commercial design experience also includes creating branded merchandise and product applications for more than a dozen organizations, including corporate clients and two men’s basketball teams. This work has given her hands-on experience translating established brand identities into cohesive, production-ready designs across apparel, accessories, and promotional products.

A Multidisciplinary Perspective

Before establishing Miniaday Designs, Patti built a multidisciplinary career spanning nursing, healthcare leadership, education, training development, quality improvement, and systems-based thinking.

These experiences shaped her belief that thoughtful design can create connection, dignity, learning, comfort, and meaningful human experiences. That perspective continues to influence the way she approaches storytelling, accessibility, organization, and user-centered design.

A graduate of the University of Hawaii, Patti has lived and traveled throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States. These experiences contribute a broad cultural perspective to her hospitality, educational, and lifestyle collections.

Creativity + Learning

Patti is also the creator of the Miniaday Learning System™, an educational initiative combining creativity, storytelling, social-emotional learning, and gentle learning experiences for children, families, educators, and lifelong learners.

She is the author of the children’s book Charlie and His Itchy Socks, the first title in an expanding collection of character-driven learning experiences designed to encourage confidence, empathy, resilience, curiosity, and meaningful connection.

Through books, companion resources, creative activities, and classroom resources available through Teachers Pay Teachers, the Miniaday Learning System™ extends Patti’s visual storytelling into practical learning experiences for educators, children, and families.
